Workshop Overview

Created for students with a musical background, this 90-minute interactive workshop dives even deeper into the world of attraction scoring. Discover how music helps create the immersive experiences at Disney parks.

Through the hands-on approach of a music clinic, students meet with a professional musician to explore the various components of music and how it can create atmosphere, emotion and a sense of time and place.

The music clinician goes beyond mere theory by encouraging the students to make their own "magic" using elementary instruments—taking the first steps toward becoming interactive composers themselves!

Requirements: This course has a minimum of 20 participants. No instruments are needed. Minimum age is 9 years old.

National Core Arts Standards

Disney Performing Arts Workshops fulfill many of the National Core Arts Standards for creation, performing, responding and connecting. Review the standards explored through this experience.
