Workshop Overview

Led by professional Disney directors and choreographers, this 90-minute, high-energy workshop gives dancers the opportunity to shine as they learn choreography adapted from a Disney production number exclusively for Disney Performing Arts! Each ensemble receives a valuable critique and learns the importance of the individual's contribution to the overall success of the group. The students' efforts are rewarded with a surprise review of their recorded work. Dance 201 is for intermediate to advanced ensembles.

Requirements: This course has a minimum of 20 participants. Large groups may be split between two workshop locations at no additional cost. Minimum age is 11 years old.

National Core Arts Standards

Disney Performing Arts Workshops fulfill many of the National Core Arts Standards for creation, performing, responding and connecting. Review the standards explored through this experience.
