They will discover that synergy is the integration of a variety of elements—including individuals and technology that communicate and cooperate with one another—to ensure that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Learning Objectives

After completing Experiencing Synergy in Science, participants will be able to:

  • Define synergy
  • Demonstrate an example of synergy
  • Understand that when parts are put together, they can do things not possible by themselves
  • Understand that ideas, innovations and inventions are the result of creativity and breaking down perceived barriers
