Program Overview

This program explores the concept of a purposefully created culture to achieve goals—using Disney culture as a model for success.

Key Learning Points

After completing Disney's Culture of Excellence College Edition, participants will:

  • Understand the concept of a purposefully created culture and its advantages
  • Utilize a more structured approach to examining their own culture's elements and the purpose served by each of those elements
  • Articulate the four Disney cultural elements they explored during the program
  • Be able to identify what currently exists in their college, university or organization's culture that relates to these four elements
  • Be able to define employee/Cast Excellence, both for Disney and for their own college, university or organization
  • Be able to define Guest Satisfaction for both Disney and their own college, university or organization
  • Understand a leader's role in creating both internal and external brand loyalty
  • Articulate the role of encouragement, positive reinforcement and rewards in promoting desired cultural behaviors
  • Understand their role in helping to define and participate in the culture of their college, university, organization or company.

Participation in either Disney's Techniques of Teamwork College Edition or Disney's Leadership Strategies is a prerequisite for this 90-minute program.

Program participants are required to present a government issued ID day of learning experience.

Follow this 6-step process for planning your College Edition: Disney Youth Education Series visit to Walt Disney World® Resort.

Select the program(s) that best suits your group.

  1. Choose the dates you intend to visit. College Edition: Disney Youth Education Series programs are available year-round. While we will work diligently to accommodate your request, we ask that you identify an alternate program date in case programming is not available on your preferred date.
  2. Submit a Program Request Form. Programs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is encouraged.
  3. Upon receipt of confirmation from the Disney Youth Programs team, purchase your value-priced theme park Ticket Packages, which include your first College Edition: Disney Youth Education Series program. Ask your Disney Youth Representative about adding additional programs during your visit to maximize your experience.
  4. You can also purchase tickets that include other Disney parks or events, including Disney Water Parks, Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course, Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
  5. Be sure to request information on food and beverage options and convenient Disney on-site group hotel accommodations.

Additional Guests are the perfect way to share the wonder and magic of your Walt Disney World® Resort visit. Students, friends and family can each enjoy their own special kind of Disney fun with the same great value-priced College Edition: Disney Youth Education Series ticket packages! *The College Edition: Disney Youth Education Series Additional Guest ticket package does not include participation in the College Edition: Disney Youth Education Series program.

Disney Youth Representatives can guide you in choosing the programs that best suit your group, plan your food and beverage options and even help you book your Disney Resort accommodations at special group rates.

*A minimum of 10 students is required and a maximum of one (1) adult may attend the Program per every five (5) students. Minimum of 1 adult per 15 students must attend the Program. The number of Group Leaders and Additional Guests (i.e., chaperones, parents, siblings, etc.) may not exceed the number of students.

Theme Park admission is required and all participants must purchase a College Edition: Disney Youth Education Series Ticket Package to attend any College Edition: Disney Youth Education Series program. Use of an admission is required for entrance into the park on the date of your program. Tickets are valid for 7 days prior to your arrival date and after departure date. Tickets are only available to residents of the Domestic U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Annual passes, complimentary admission and regular front‐gate admission cannot be applied to the cost of a program.
