Competitions & Festivals

Achieve personal bests or bragging rights at Disney's unique competitions and festivals. Challenge your ensemble to excel by entering events that are both encouraging and rewarding, including professional critiques, friendly rivalries or non-competitive performances.

Festival Disney
Compete with your middle and high school students at this annual competition for instrumental, vocal and auxiliary ensembles—held on select weekends from March to May. Achieve performance excellence at our all-Disney-produced competitive music festival. Festival Disney gives your ensemble the chance to compete with other instrumental and vocal ensembles from schools across the country. Directors can choose either competitive or non-competitive experiences. This event is open to concert bands, jazz ensembles, marching bands, orchestras, vocal ensembles and show choirs. And afterwards, your ensemble will get the opportunity to explore the magic of Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

Workshops

Perfect your ensemble's craft and inspire brilliance with help from seasoned entertainers! Under the guidance of a pro, students can fine tune technique and reinforce performance concepts in a fun, hands-on session. Enroll your group in a Disney Performing Arts Workshop focusing on any of 4 disciplines: instrumental, vocal, dance or theatre.

Disney Youth Education Series

Let our theme parks serve as a learning laboratory! We provide students—and their teachers—a hands-on, educational adventure. These guided field studies are accredited, standards-based and designed to reinforce your classroom lessons. Practice teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving as your group participates in one-of-a-kind learning moments using the magic of Disney. This program will include:

• Guided, in-park educational field studies with courses in Applied Sciences, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts and Leadership Development
• Year-round educational opportunities offered 7 days a week
• Available to elementary, middle, junior and senior high school students of all ages from around the world traveling in groups of 10 or more

Kingdom Keepers Quest

Embark on a self‐guided quest based on the popular Kingdom Keepers book series! Do you have what it take to be a Keeper? Finn and the Kingdom Keepers need help in holding the Overtakers at bay and are looking for new recruits just like… you! Select from either Kingdom Keepers Quest at the Magic Kingdom Park or Kingdom Keepers Quest II at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.

Team up and get your imagination in gear to solve puzzles and teasers in order to complete the quest! Who knows, maybe you can become an honorary Kingdom Keeper! This interactive experience will involve:
