Delve into the rich history of California's people, places and events that made The Golden State what it is today. At Disney California Adventure® Park students get a hands-on look at all things California—from the Gold Rush to the redwoods, and beyond.

*Please note if your group is on a Disney Youth Education Series experience only ticket, your meeting location may vary and will be confirmed prior to your group's arrival to the Disneyland® Resort.

The Disney Difference
- Trained and knowledgeable Disney Youth Education Series Cast Members facilitate this high-quality and educationally sound program, while never forgetting that fun is a vital part of learning.
- Discuss three famous aviators of California history.
- Point out the four regions of California on a map.
- Compare and contrast Immigration and Migration.
- Articulate the who, what, where, when and why of the Gold Rush.
- Discuss the California Missions.
- Discuss two Native American Tribes of California.
- Explore and share their hopes and dreams.
Students who are not traveling with a group but would like to enroll in this Disney Youth Education Series program can do so during any date specified below.
A minimum number of participants must be reached for each program to be activated. Purchase of a ticket does not ensure program activation. You will be contacted if the minimum is not reached for your selected program. All children 12 and under must have a responsible adult on the program with them. Children 13 and older who will not have a parent or responsible adult with them MUST have a parent/guardian accompany them to the start of the program and sign a waiver in case of emergency and the parent/guardian must be present in the same park as the program their child is participating in case of an emergency.
