Girl Scouts

Celebrate 100 Years of Girl Scouting at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida, May 25–28, 2012

EVENT INFORMATION:
The Bridging into the Next Century event provides Girl Scouts an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Girl Scouting at Epcot® as the Girl Scout Organization moves into their next 100 years. Attendees will participate in a ceremonial welcome and pledge before dividing into smaller groups for the bridging experience. Each Girl Scout will receive 1 commemorative event item and access to Disney Theme Park Attraction Badge Alignment E–Materials. Disney Characters will be on hand to surprise and congratulate the participating Girl Scouts. The event will now be hosted on 2 days. Girl Scouts will select 1 day they would like to participate when they purchase their tickets. The events will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, May 26, 2012 and Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Epcot®. Participants may arrive at Epcot® as early as 7:15am. An event ticket is required for admission into Epcot® to participate.

BREAKFAST AT THE EVENT:
A breakfast buffet will be served at Epcot® at World ShowPlace Pavilion as an optional portion of the event on the morning of Saturday, May 26, 2012 or on Sunday, May 27, 2012. Breakfast will consist of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, tater tots, bacon, baked French toast sticks with maple syrup, orange juice, and coffee. Breakfast must be purchased in advance with event ticket packages. Limited spaces are available.
